this wasnt what i had wanted to write..but then even i dont know how i managed it..its not the best but still different than what i have written uptil now!!
Oh! My dear country
My life is for my nation
Shouts the elected leader
While delivering his lengthy speech
Yes, my dear people
All those who brought me here

Forever within your reach
Ah! my dear motherland
With all its glory alive
Cries the wounded soldier
Finding no words that could teach
All his fellow countrymen
His brothers and sisters alike
Till the soul lies within him
His nation’s honor wont be breached
Laying your life for your mother’s sake
Is better than making promises that are fake
A single martyr outnumbers thousands of leaders
Is a simple message that 'HE' doesn’t intend to preach

NOT all politicians are like that.. i agree that solidiers have done a gr8 job by givin their lives for the country.. but it isnt that u can show ur love and admiration for your country ONLY by dying for the country...
i guess d word Politician has been made synonymous to 'corruption' ..'lie'..'hatred'..'envy'.. etc etc.. ONLY because of these present politicians..
but i suppose.. the future of our country is brighter.. wid young minds understanding the importance of education and the fact that we NEED more "GOOD" ppl 2 enter politics..
there are quite a few no. of teenagers (read: ME!!) who are aspiring to b politicians... n i bet dey r gonna improve the situation of our country :-)

and me not saying that all politicians are bad..my poem aims at those so called politicians who make big promises but when it comes to fulfilling them they just disappear!!
we indeed are in need of people who'll understand what india actually wants!!

True all politicians are not the same.. but they do become alike, once they enter the system.. cuz to be in the system.. they ve to be the part of the system.. and noone has the guts to change the sys..
